Michael J. Crandall posts news thing; Internet rejoices!

Handsome greetings, everyone!

I recently had some issues with my website.

But fear not! I will soon post more info about my latest acting adventures, including …

—My brief stint as a post-apocalyptic survival nut in The Last Outbreak, a short film for the 2014 Los Angeles 48 Hour Film Festival

—My somber role as the melancholy Charlie in the American Film Institute production, Merrimaker.

—My oddly prescient portrayal of a soon-to-be murdered man in the Chapman University short film, Dead Husbands Club.

—My minty-fresh stand-up career! Now with 73 percent more me!

Stay tuned!

December 2011

Well another year as come and gone. I hope everyone had a good holiday. My holiday season was delightful and filled with death. I had the pleasure of performing with the wonderful people at Murder Mystery USA, Inc. Most of the performances were at Matteo's on Westwood in LA. I was able to help people get through the holidays with a nice relaxing murder!

This past Halloween weekend was rife with ghosts and gore at the Acme Comedy Theatre. There we had a very special supernaturally spooky episode of Murder By Acme, the improv murder mystery. I had the opportunity to play the scrappy technological whiz who uses his machines and his wits to locate specters and phantoms. Seen here with my fellow actors, I was ready to battle the forces of gloom with the finest technology the 1930s had to offer!
